Ever since I can remember, I’ve been the person who cries at the romantic, feel-good movies, gets goosebumps during the vows, loves when the groom gets a little emotional (full blown sobbing is even better!), and gets lost in romance books. I’ve always been captivated by the magic of weddings—the anticipation, the shared laughter, and the pure joy that fills a room when two families become one. For me, weddings aren't just events; they are the beautiful, tangible realization of two people choosing forever. Bringing your stories to life, capturing the quiet glances, and making it my mission to take your vision of the perfect day and turn it into a reality, leaving you free to focus on what matters most: marrying your favorite person. ♡

Honestly? We're just here to make sure you actually enjoy your own wedding. We’re the team that’s going to fix your bustle or cufflinks, hype you up before the grand entrance, and have a glass of bubbly (or Diet Coke) ready for you before picture time (or even some of the hors d'oeuvres you tasted and loved - trust me, I get it. I didn't get any at my own wedding, so I gotchu!). Consider us your planner bestie who handles the stress while keeping your glass full (whatever may be in it).

What sets us apart is that we care just as much about your peace of mind as we do about your centerpieces. We take over the spreadsheets and late-night logistics, so your only job is to clink glasses with your favorite people and celebrate the life you're building together.

While I’m your planning bestie first, I also bring some serious strategy to the table. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wilmington University with my Bachelor’s in Communications, specializing in Public Relations and Strategic Communication.

You might wonder how a PR degree connects to centerpieces and champagne toasts, but honestly? It’s my secret weapon. Wedding planning is entirely about high-level communication. It’s coordinating with a dozen different vendors, managing tight timelines, and handling crisis control behind the scenes so you never even know a problem existed. My background means I know exactly how to advocate for you, negotiate seamlessly, and keep everyone on the same page.

Bre is the founder and Chief Planning Officer of Just Breathe Events & Planning, located right here in the First State. For Bre, "one-woman show" doesn’t mean limited resources—it means unlimited dedication. When you work with Just Breathe Events, you aren't passed off to a junior coordinator; you get direct access to the visionary herself. From navigating the initial venue search to executing every single detail on the big day, Bre blends Delaware charm with powerhouse organization to make sure your only job is to just breathe and enjoy the magic.

And the Rest Was History

People often ask how I got into this industry, and the truth is, I was inspired by the best. During my own engagement, our wedding planner completely redefined what wedding planning could be. She was the reason we secured our venue, and she turned what could have been a stressful season into a seamless, joyful adventure.

Being a Virgo and past fiancée/bride, I know how hard it can be to give up the "control". To place complete trust in a stranger. To not stress about the big day and know everything's handled. But throughout the entire planning process and on the day of the wedding, I got to be fully present. I never worried about a thing; I just got to focus on the tastings, dress try-ons and saying YES (with tears) to the dress, walking down the aisle, and celebrating the best day of my life. All the good, fun bits of wedding planning was all I needed to worry about. That feeling of total freedom and pure bliss is what inspired me to step behind the scenes myself. I wanted to be that beacon of calm and joy for other couples. And I hope you can find the control, the trust, and the calm in me. ♡
